Virat Kohli was born in 1990 in Mumbai. He was born into a Hindu family. His father is a doctor and his mother is a housewife. He is the youngest of three children. He went to St. Xavier’s High School in Mumbai. He then went to the National Institute of Sports (NIS) in Patiala. He played for the NIS team for five years. He then went to the National Cricket Academy in Bangalore. He was the captain of the academy team and he captained the India Under-19 team.
