According to reports, Ronaldo had asked Musk for permission to use the “Tesla” name on his own brand of fitness products. In response, Musk asked Ronaldo to pay $8 for using his trademarked name.
It is not clear whether Ronaldo actually used the “Tesla” name on his products or if he refused to pay the $8 fee. However, it seems that his failure to settle the small amount has led to the revocation of his verified badge on Twitter.
